The Word

In the beginning, the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. He existed at the beginning with God. God created everything through him, and nothing was created except through him. The Word gave life to everything that was created, and his life brought light to everyone. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it. John 1:1‭-‬5 NLT https://bible.com/bible/116/jhn.1.1-5.NLT

Jesus is the Word made flesh. This scripture presents a wonderful mystery: the Word of God being a living entity.

The words we use have power. Are they sourced in faith, grace, life? If so then they come from Him. If we use destructive words, they come from the pit of hell and are used to tear down and destroy.

We can easily flow with the Word of God and when we do we bring blessing, create hope, open doors.

The Word of God shines in the darkness. We can take this Word into dark places and see captives set free, the wounded healed and the broken restored.

Use the words of Life and you will be a true servant of God! Amen!

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
