His Power is Best

Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses so that the power of Christ can work through me.
2 Corinthians 12:9 NLT

This scripture is referring to the 'thorn in the flesh' that Satan had inflicted upon the apostle Paul. We are not told what it is. However, it could have been anything debilitating or embarrassing.

When a driving personality has a disability it prevents them from being proud in themselves and has the effect of humbling them.

Whatever the disability Paul had he was determined to lean on God for his strength instead of himself. In his weakness, he would be strong because Christ would be working in and through him.

Having Christ as our strength is not a bad thing, in fact, it is the best thing. Amen!
