Love Your Neighbour

For the whole law can be summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbour as yourself.”
Galatians 5:14 NLT

A man once asked Jesus: 'who is my neighbour?' In reply, Jesus told a parable about a man who went on a journey and was set upon by robbers. Laying injured he now needed someone to help him. A Pharisee came by and turned up his nose, a Sadducee came by and is the same. Finally, a Samaritan came along and ministered healing, took him to an inn, paid for his food and accommodation before going on his way. Jesus turned to the man and asked: 'which one was being a neighbour?' The man replied: 'The one who lent a hand, I suppose.'

My neighbour is anyone else. Jesus taught we must love them as we love ourselves. We know we love ourselves now we must apply that love to others. There is a challenge!
