A Time to Love

Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.
1 Corinthians 13:4‭-‬7 NLT

Right now, when people are cooped up with family for, perhaps months, these scriptures need to sustain us. I heard on the news that the money spent on alcohol outstripped that spent on food as people realise they must submit to a yoke not of their making. I pity those of the household who must endure the drunkenness.

Rather instead adults need to know how to love their families enough to spend time with them in creative ways. It would have been better to spend money on creative things to do together.

There are so many creative ideas that the Lord gives us, if we would only but consider them. Amen!
