Anxious Thoughts

Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life.
Psalms 139:23‭-‬24 NLT

Anxiety has been clever in Christians. It has adapted a spiritual cloak and called itself Intrrcession, the burden of the Lord or perhaps discernment.

We must call anxiety and fear out for what they are, tools of the enemy. Jesus told people have no anxiety. Paul tells us this in Philippians 4:6-7 that by prayer and petition we must make our requests known to God.

Anxiety wants to belong and will make a strong case to stay. We must know a stronger case to command it to go. Jesus told us in Matthew 6:25-33 that we should seek God for our needs and not be anxious.

The antidote for anxiety is prayer and seeking God. He has our supply. Amen!
