Stirring up Anger

A gentle answer deflects anger, but harsh words make tempers flare.
Proverbs 15:1 NLT

I am watching social media be judge, jury and executioner against a ship that docked at Sydney and unloaded 600 odd Coronavirus sufferers. Many did not know they had the virus, they were incubating it.

The state of NSW keeps defending the doctors assessment of the holidaymakers on the ship yet the critics are out with their knives. What everyone is forgetting: we had never been here before and the medics were flying by the seat of their pants.

If anyone is lying, it will be revealed as the police are investigating. Meanwhile tempers are flaring against all those who brought the disease ashore. I know it must be very hard for all involved.

We must be quick to listen and slow to speak. (Someone famous once said that- James I believe)
