don't worry

“That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn’t life more than food, and your body more than clothing? Matthew 6:25 NLT

Having something new to wear is not important, unless your current clothes are worn out. I remember a times when I bought a lot of clothes because my identity was tied up in them: no longer!

We can allow self-pity to work its way in us and make us believe because we don't have this or that we are poor and needy. Rubbish! That is a lie from the pit!

It is us who makes a fuss about how we look. If we are clean and tidy, no one else will care, noone worth their mettle that is. Those that judge outer appearance are superficial and not worth trying to impress. Turn your eyes to Jesus and seek Him first and all you need will be yours. Amen!
