He gives power

He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless.

Isaiah 40:29 NLT

In a time when there is a constant battle for power, we see here that the Lord promises power to the weak. Noone else offers power to the weak. The strong hold on to the power to shore up their position.

Let the weak say 'I am strong!'

Let the poor say 'I am rich!'

Let the blind say, 'I can see!'

Its what the Lord has done in me. (Hillsong)
