our advocate
Meanwhile, the moment we get tired in the waiting, God’s Spirit is right alongside helping us along. If we don’t know how or what to pray, it doesn’t matter. He does our praying in and for us, making prayer out of our wordless sighs, our aching groans. He knows us far better than we know ourselves, knows our pregnant condition, and keeps us present before God. That’s why we can be so sure that every detail in our lives of love for God is worked into something good. Romans 8:26-28 MSG

We have an advocate! The Holy Spirit interceeds for us. As we all struggle with our load, He is there.
Today I saw the injustice and inequity of the health system for seniors. I decided that the first thing I would do is pray. Expecting seniors to pay the same cost as working younger people is wrong. As a result many seniors cannot afford new glasses, dental work and needed surgery. Before my mum died she faithfully paid exorbitant monthly premiums for private health care. However, these premiums still had a shortfall for some providers of services. This is wrong!
I am praying for guidance as to what I can do myself. I am sure the Lord has a plan! It is time for change. It is time for justice. It is time for a river of grace and provision for the elderly and young children and the disabled. Amen!
