wisdom's source

Don’t be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear the Lord and turn away from evil.

There are times when we glory in the fact that we have 'nailed it'. However, why did we? Was it our own ability or an impartation of God's wisdom? We must be careful to give God the glory. He is wisdom itself and we are often lacking.

Yesterday I was presented with a problem a friend was experiencing. I knew I had ro step into the problem as the friend was being bullied at work. Of all the times nurses needed being bullied! I prayed for her but knew there was more. The Lord prompted me to contact another friend who  worked at the same nursing home and she offered support and advice. Now, to claim this was my inspiration would be wrong. God was leading me and I was merely a servant.

When I solve problems for others, it is God leading and I must give Him the glory. Amen!
