But don’t let it faze you. Stick with what you learned and believed, sure of the integrity of your teachers—why, you took in the sacred Scriptures with your mother’s milk! There’s nothing like the written Word of God for showing you the way to salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. Every part of Scripture is God-breathed and useful one way or another—showing us truth, exposing our rebellion, correcting our mistakes, training us to live God’s way. Through the Word we are put together and shaped up for the tasks God has for us.

I love the verse that says: through the word we are out together and shaped up for the task God has for us.

My grandchildren love Lego. I quite enjoy it as well. I can sit down in front of a mess of bricks and see what I want to build, and then build it.

God sees what He wants to build us into, sits down and gets to work.

When I use Lego I love glass and lots of windows, I use as much as I can find. Being able to look through the glass is beautiful to me. I wonder if God wants panels of glass in us, so that others can see clearly what is within. God can see through to our core without glass, it is for others.

Let Him build you, let go of the reins. He does a better job! Amen!

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
