in whatever you do

So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. 1 Corinthians 10:31 NLT

This scripture comes after Paul was addressing whether or not to eat food offered to idols. Apparently after the food had been offered to idols it was sold in the marketplace. For some this caused them difficulty and so Paul said: if you are invited to dinner, and they tell you the meat was offered to idols, abstain so as to not offend the hosts conscience, but otherwise it was up to the individual.

Remembering that faith is what is important to God, not whether we eat meat or vegetables. Whatever we do must be done in faith. Amen
