the best peace
Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:6-7 NLT

We tend to forget to tell God what we need and then become disappointed when we don't receive. James tells us why we are disappointed: ..you don't have because you do not ask and do not receive because you ask with wrong motives. (James 4:2,3 my paraphrase)
If you are being dealt with unjustly, do you pray for judgement on those who deal with you wrongly? Do you squirm, winge and complain and feel sorry for yourself? Then these are wrong motives. God will deal with your heart first, then possibly your oppressor.
However, when we come with a good heart, repentent and humble, God moves heaven and earth for us. We may not see it right away but it is there working for our good.
God's peace in all things is more important than receiving what we want, how we want it. Amen
