who do I please?

Obviously, I’m not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant.Galatians 1:10 NLT

I have had to examine myself to see if I were a people pleaser at times, especially when I find myself anxious over performance. We all want to be well thought of, but living for praise and adulation from people is ridiculous.

Jesus Himself did not commit Himself to the crowds because He knew the heart of man. On one day they were shouting: "Hosanna to the king", the next, "Crucify Him"!

We see this in our own sports media. One day a player is a star then next booed off the field. If the hearts of mankind are so fickle why do we bother? There is One who does not change, His name is Jesus! Forever the same, forever faithful, forever influenced by the opinions of my enemy or others. His love is always the same. Amen!
