wonderful things

O Lord , I will honor and praise your name, for you are my God. You do such wonderful things! You planned them long ago, and now you have accomplished them. Isaiah 25:1 NLT

Waiting for God sees Him do wonderful things. If our eyes and ears are on Him we see what He is doing. The worldly system is in failure and desperately needs a moove of God. Take you eyes off the world and its failure at look to the kingdom of God. He is not in failure, in fact more souls are coming to Him than ever before.

Today is a new day in the economy of God. Don't grieve for the old ways, new ways are here. Be a part of the new things and don't attempt to control in old ways. Old ways do not work anymore. Stand back and allow God to moove, don't get in the way. Humble yourself and trust the new way. 

Yesterday as I was reading Isaiah I saw how God prophesied the coming of Cyrus, hundreds of years before he came. God called him, His servant, the rebuilder of Jerusalem. God uses whom He wills, who can understand His mind? Trust God's plans, they will proove wonderful! Amen!

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
