money

Don’t love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, “I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.” Hebrews 13:5 NLT

We think money is important for retirement, for buying this and that, yet, when you need money for something, it will be there. I have learned that if a surplus comes in, God will show me what it is for, not to run off in the lusts of my flesh thinking I can buy. If God wants me to have a thing, He gives it to me.

Fear drives us to collecting money, yet God provides when no fear, but trust, exists. Jesus told His disciples not to collect earthly treasures where thieves can break in and steal, and moth and rust can destroy. Our priorities have been wrong.

God is our provider. Amen!
