Joseph
By faith Joseph, as he was nearing the end of his life, mentioned the exodus of the Israelites and gave instructions concerning his bones. Hebrews 11:22 HCSB

Do you ever consider the life of Joseph, apart from what we are told in the bible? He was a real person who went through a horrid trial: he was sold into slavery by his siblings, condemned to jail by a lustful woman, left to rot in prison, even though he helped interpret dreams for others. Yet, he did not appear to have a bad attitude. I imagine his time in captivity purged all resentment from his heart. He had to have faith that God would not fail him, but would remember His promise to him.
Joseph married an Egyptian and settled in Egypt yet knew of God's promise to His people. He asked that his bones be taken by them from Egypt to the Promised land, when they were finally released.
We all think our life to be the most important. It is to us, yet, we are a grain of sand in the whole of God's economy. We are one of many. Our God loves us and is mindful of us, but our comfort is not His highest concern. Rather, He is concerned with His eternal plans, and where we fit in them.
Consider outside the frame of you! See yourself as a part, not all. Amen!
