To all who received Him

After a lovely week on Great Keppel Island  my grandson and I stayed last night at Yepoon Beach house. This is a hostel-type accomodation where all manner of people stay. I fell into conversation with a young Chinese girl, and found myself telling her about Jesus being the way to eternal life. When I had finished talking to her, I received a SMS message from the young Nepali boy who I had shared Jesus with before coming on holiday. He wanted spiritual help. I messgaed back to tell him to ask Jesus into his heart, that I had been praying for him. He wrote back, that's better, thank you.  I then contacted a friend to arrage to take him to church, as I will be away on Sunday.

I then went to find my grandson. He was talking to a Phillippino man. Archie told me that he likes to make people smile. He said that the man knew about Jesus, but did not go to church. I think I have a little evangelist in the family. Praise God!

I love this sharing Jesus to all who come to me. The young Chinese girl had been drawn to me from the outset. I am loving partnering with the Holy Spirit. This is the best fun! Amen!

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
