God is the supply

If you don’t know what you’re doing, pray to the Father. He loves to help. You’ll get his help, and won’t be condescended to when you ask for it. Ask boldly, believingly, without a second thought. People who “worry their prayers” are like wind-whipped waves. Don’t think you’re going to get anything from the Master that way, adrift at sea, keeping all your options open. James 1:5‭-‬8 MSG

James is right on the money, and the Message Bible captures the essence of the message. God is the source and supply. If you have need ask.  Remember the Lord's prayer says: give us this day our daily bread. In this category I would include: financial provision, natural provision and wisdom. Jesus taught us how to pray: ask, seek, knock. He told parables about persistence in prayer. He also told us to believe that our Father hears us, and at the right time provides.

Today I had such a provision. On Sunday I had prayed for  smaller bbq so that I could take it with me when I wanted to provide, in a portable way. Today I visited a friend who had just the right thing, and she wanted to give it to me. I was amazed at the speed of answer.

Remember, God is the supply!
