in God's hands
“Be strong. Take courage. Don’t be intimidated. Don’t give them a second thought because God , your God, is striding ahead of you. He’s right there with you. He won’t let you down; he won’t leave you.”
Deuteronomy 31:6 MSG

I see taking courage as stepping out of the plane with a parachute, trusting it to open. Courage is stepping into faith, instead of worrying, deciding to go, and not look back.
When we have gone through an experience that requires courage, we feel soooo good. Courage carries its own reward.
I remember the first time I undertook a scuba diving course. One of the scariest parts was to dive to the bottom, take off all the diving gear, even the mask and put it all back on again. Not being able to see was freaky, and putting on a mask, and clearing it was worse. The fear of inhaling the water batters you, until you have done it and not drowned.
Once you begin to conquer fear, it becomes easier. Once you know your God is with you, and will not fail you, you become secure.
The safest place on earth, or above the earth, is in God's hands. Trust Him! Amen!
