lacking wisdom
Now if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives to all generously and without criticizing, and it will be given to him. James 1:5 HCSB

We do lack wisdom, daily, and we need to ask for wisdom: in dealing with relationships, finance and paths to take. If God is waiting to share His wisdom, why do we not ask? We do not ask because we fail to factor Him into the equation.
Proverbs speaks of gaining wisdom, wisdom was sought by Solomon. He asked for wisdom to rule, and he received it. In the book of James, James, Jesus' brother, cuts to the chase and tells us to ask. Solomon is evidence that God is willing to give wisdom.
Wisdom in dealing with others is important. Wisdom prevents us from saying things we should not say and encourages us to confront those we should.
God is good! Ask Him, and He will provide. Amen!
