pray hard

Be prepared. You’re up against far more than you can handle on your own. Take all the help you can get, every weapon God has issued, so that when it’s all over but the shouting you’ll still be on your feet. Truth, righteousness, peace, faith, and salvation are more than words. Learn how to apply them. You’ll need them throughout your life. God’s Word is an indispensable weapon. In the same way, prayer is essential in this ongoing warfare. Pray hard and long. Pray for your brothers and sisters. Keep your eyes open. Keep each other’s spirits up so that no one falls behind or drops out. Ephesians 6:13‭-‬18 MSG

We fail to understand the power in prayer, if all we believe is what the media tells us. On the contrary, what is God saying and more pertinently, what is He doing?

As we pray we find God and experience His heart in a matter. I enjoy joining the Holy Spirit on one of His exploits. If He is wanting to rescue souls, rescue them. I want to meet a cloud of people in heaven who I prayed for in this time, those who faced death during COVID.

I want to meet all those I prayed for who faced suicide and found hope. I want to meet all the babies that I prayed for protect from abortion. Imagine meeting all your success stories in eternity. Will you have a grateful host meeting you? I want this. Join me! Amen!

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
