equipping word

All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.

The word of God teaches us, prepares us and gives us tools to serve Him. He is vitally interested in us behaving as His sons and daughters, ready for every good work.

I am caught unaware when my spirit rises up to a task. I am inspried to a challenge. The Lord knows I love challenges and places them before me. He has given me one right now. It has to do with the Australian indigenous people being one with the white folk. It is a huge challenge, but if God is in this, it will happen. He has led me to meet or know key links in the chain and annointed me with boldness, not afraid to speak to royalty, if needed.

Prayer will bathe all I do, the word will be my food, and the Holy Spirit will be my guide. Praise God! Bring it on!

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
