When we say "sorry!" But don't mean it, in whose name are we speaking? Ours of course! When we do superficial stuff and expect others to accept it as sincere, in whose name are we acting? By whose authority? Ours!
Why do we act shallow? Because we think we can. Why do we treat others this way? Because we do not respect God's opinion about them or His opinion on how to treat them.
Do we have a little bit of idolatry going on here? Yes? What is the solution? Repent? Yes!
