yet will I praise You

Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vines; even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty, yet I will rejoice in the Lord ! I will be joyful in the God of my salvation!
Habakkuk 3:17‭-‬18 NLT

This verse captures the moment doesn't it? We also see Job honouring God after losing everything but his cantankerous wife and obtuse friends. When God shows up He honours Job, after rebuking him slightly.

Let's see what worship will do? Jesus said: If I be lifted up, I will draw all me to myself. Whilst He was lifted up on a cross, there is a lifting we can do, lift Him up in praise.

Habakkuk had it right, even if all these things happen, I will praise the Lord. Praise is the best medicine. It edifies the Lord and our spirits at the same time. Amen!
