confession
If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9 HCSB

A confession is what the police want to convict us our wrongdoing, the judge wants us to confess but God wants to hear a different confession. Do you take my Son as saviour and Lord? Do you believe I raised Him from the dead? Everything we are and do reveals whether or not we do.
A man might escape jail and be convincing in his protestations of innocence, however, in a drunken state might own up to the truth. Recently there was a man in NSW who had eluded the police for around 20 years hand himself in to the police. He was ready to confess his sin. Did his conscience bother him or did he want to live as a man free from hiding?
Today we need to confess Jesus as Lord by what we do. Will we find you in church worshipping the Lord so that all may see and know, or will you not bother and reveal Jesus is not Lord of all, at all, in you?
