conquer evil

21 Don’t let evil conquer you, but conquer evil by doing good. Romans 12:21 NLT

The verses before this one gives us an indication of how to overcome evil:

20 Instead, “If your enemies are hungry, feed them. If they are thirsty, give them something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals of shame on their heads.” 21 Don’t let evil conquer you, but conquer evil by doing good.

We seem to have a lot of enemies all of a sudden. People who do not know one another are fighting over opinions. Jesus said this would happen in the end times:
Matthew 24: 10
10 And many will turn away from me and betray and hate each other.

I had another dream this morning about traffic lights, people were fighting over which colours they should be named. The Lord spoke to me that this depicts people fighting over end times prophesy. Irregardless of opinions over colour, they are there,  and will still change as times progress.

This reminds me of the Pharisees fighting over healing the sick on the Sabbath.  Jesus wanted to do good, was going to do it irregardless of their opinions. Now, we are entering His time and what He said will come to pass, will come to pass, no matter what our opinion is. Amen!

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
