I will trust thr Lord
1-2 If God doesn’t build the house, the builders only build shacks. If God doesn’t guard the city, the night watchman might as well nap. It’s useless to rise early and go to bed late, and work your worried fingers to the bone. Don’t you know he enjoys giving rest to those he loves? Psalm 127:1-2 MSG

Today the Paralymlics ended. What a blessing they have been to one in lockdown. I pray the athletes all make it home unaffected by COVID. The danger they have placed themselves in is enormous. It is assumed that with all precautions taken they will be fine. Some will return to States where the danger is greater here.
Whilst endeavouring to have a day of rest from study I watched a documentary of the first astronauts. One of seven was devout in his faith, yet he was the first to face real danger. Fortunately he made it home safely.
Each of us will face danger at some time. We, like the astronaut, must trust the Lord. Amen!
