Well praise God, no earthquake! I had a vivid dream this morning that there was an earthquake here in my city today at 12.15pm. The reason I knew the time, in my dream I realised it was 12 .15pm and that I had to leave for a dentist appointment at 12.30pm. I prepared just in case and was able to put everything back that I had secured. I reasoned that as it was the first day of spring here in Australia I would take the opportunity to spring clean. Each September and April I change the colour scheme in my house to reflect the season. The cool greens and blues help in summer and the reds and oranges in winter help make the place look warm. It works.

As this dream was the second lately that was vivid and impacting I think I will start praying into them and ask the Lord what is going on, what is He saying?

Meanwhile I see a promise or two in this scripture. I am currently involved in a court case over unfair dismissal. It has protracted for 3 years and is nearing completion. So good to see 'you will silence every voice raised up to accuse you and the other is: their vindication will come  from Me. So good to have Him on my side.

On another note. Today I was facing a lot of dental work that was very expensive. I prayed for God's help to find another way. He did! The dentist found nothing wrong, filed a bit of a protruding tooth and left it at that. $92 instead of $860. I'd say that was a blessing! Yes!

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
