power indeed

Therefore, whatever you want others to do for you, do also the same for them — this is the Law and the Prophets.

I seriously don't think people believe this. Why else would they not behave as if they do? If we are cognisant of a fact, we act with that knowledge in mind, unless we refuse to believe it. However, even in refusal to believe is an awareness that it might just be right.

I awoke from a powerful dream this morning about a powerful man who was confronted by the gospel but did not want to humble himself and ask Christ into his heart. Instead he wanted to impress with his own power. I was not impressed. I knew my God and was there on His business. This intimidated the powerful man.

Our God has business to attend to with all manner of men and women, no matter what tag they carry, how much money they have, or how powerful they, and others think they are. The truth of the gospel is powerful indeed, more powerful than anything on earth, under the earth or in the heavens above. Amen!
