sick, in trouble or well?
13 Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises. James 5:13 NLT

In this day may are suffering. In Australia and my state NSW, we have been weeks in lockdown, now Victoria has joined us. This affects people's sanity, their ability to earn and income, and if they are Chinese they would be abused because of their homeland. In this case we need to pray. Whereas Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia have escaped thus far. They should sing praises.
Last night before sleep I felt led to read Ezekiel. I read a few chapters before falling asleep. Ezekiel saw amazing things in the heavenly but then God required him to lay on his left side, tied up with ropes, for 390 days. He was to eat what God had told him and drink only a certain amount of water. The nurse in me is horrified. I know how blood pools and if made lie in one position if only for weeks, bedsores break out. I wondered how he went to the toilet. The text talked about cooking food, so either Ezekiel cooked mass of food before hand on someone was there to help him. Where am I going with this?
Last night I had two dreams. The first was another busy dream. I dreamt about my computer password. I was aggravated because it did not make sense. I was given the password by my technician recently when he did a reset. At the time I appreciated the password, deciding not to change it as it was different. Yet, in my dream I was annoyed because it did not make sense. Logic dictates that passwords should not make sense, this makes them harder to break. I believe the Lord was showing me that prophesy will not be as expected and will not always make sense, it is criptic for a purpose.
The second dream was surrounding three types of education. There was the easy type, the mixed type and the hard type. (This dream draws on my uni studies somewhat). I believe this dream speaks to 3 attitudes to The Tribulation: pre-mellennial, post millennial and dispensationalists. They are all tied to beliefs about when the rapture will occur. (The rapture of God's people from the earth).
I am reminded of an article I recently read that cites Corrie Ten Boom as saying: the western church foolishly believes it will escape the tribulation. She spoke about the church in China, which at one time had also believed this doctrine until it was plunged into tribulation. She said you cannot say that the tribulation is not here as many are already in tribulation. The Chinese people were unprepared for suffering and struggled greatly when it came. Her message: be prepared!
Back to the dream. I know the feeling I had with the view of the easy education, it was flawed. Whilst the hard seemed harsh, it made the students ready.
