come alive

One believes with the heart, resulting in righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, resulting in salvation.
Romans 10:10 HCSB

Believing in the heart produces righteousness, confession with the mouth produces salvation. Two different things and places produces two different things but both are needed for a new Christian, and an ongoing growing Christian. Believing and confession work together to produce the Lord's desired son or daughter.

Paul said at the beginning of the book of Romans: for I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is God's power for salvation to everyone who believes, first the Jew, then the Greek. (1:14)

Being willing to share the gospel means we are not ashamed of it. Sharing the gospel is a confession of our mouths.

Come alive, come alive, come alive dry bones. Jesus is the life! Amen!
