God's word never passes away

“Take a lesson from the fig tree. From the moment you notice its buds form, the merest hint of green, you know summer’s just around the corner. So it is with you: When you see all these things, you’ll know he’s at the door. Don’t take this lightly. I’m not just saying this for some future generation, but for all of you. This age continues until all these things take place. Sky and earth will wear out; my words won’t wear out. Matthew 24:35 MSG

Tonight at astronomy a woman asked where she could buy a good astronomy book. I showed her the library where she could borrow a book and then told her I personally read articles on the internet, as information goes quickly out of date.

The interesting thing here is that the bible never dates. Although Jesus spoke the above words over 2,000 years ago, they are still relevant. He is God and His words are eternal.  We are not God and our words change continually. I know where I would rather  place my trust! Amen!
