no one like Him

Do you remember who said these words? A lowly woman called Hannah, Samuel's mum. She was earnestly seeking the Lord for a child and was praying in the temple. She had it right. There is no one Holy like our God! She was buttering the Lord up with her praise. He loved it and responded with the best He could give her, a mighty man of God called Samuel. Samuel was holy unto the Lord, he only spoke what God told him to speak and do what God told him to do.

Today I proclaim ' there is no one like my God! He is holy! Pure! Righteous! His judgements are true! Amen!

I had two dreams last night. Both disturbed me. The first was about demons in God's people and me trying to discern who had a right spirit in them. We had a mighty enemy come up against us but I had a few bold, righteous women I could trust. The second dream was most disturbing because it was about a man of God I know. He was going through a post-traumatic period and doing art to heal. He met someone he knew, a woman and was very tempted to do wrong. In both instances I can pray, I will pray!

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
