shout for joy!

Come, everyone! Clap your hands! Shout to God with joyful praise!
Psalms 47:1 NLT
https://bible.com/bible/116/psa.47.1.NLT

This Psalm was written by the sons of Korah. These boys were gatekeepers in the house of God. As Christians we are sons of God, we are gatekeepers. It is our job to open up the gates to allow people in and to close the gates to evil.

The New Testament is littered with exhortions to rejoice. The apostle Paul used this exhortation: rejoice in the Lord always, again I say rejoice. In several of his epistles he exhorts the saints to rejoice.

Joy is attractive, it opens up hearts and minds to goodness, this is probably why Christmas Carols are so well accepted, they lift the atmosphere.

Joy defeats darkness. It destroys the power of the enemy. Joy is mighty in the hands of the saints.

Today, rejoice! Amen!
