wisdom in others

Walk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get in trouble. Proverbs 13:20 NLT

The first person we can walk with to be wise is dead, the second we cannot see. Perhaps the third might be living, it all depends on who you look to.

Solomon, the wisest man to ever live turned out to be the most foolish. His greatest weakness, women , was his downfall. He married women of foreign countries who worshipped foreign gods. They took his heart away from his own living God.

If Solomon could fall, anyone can fall. If anyone or anything is idolised above God, it will steal our heart.

The second being who we can walk with is the Holy Spirit. He never failed, never will fail. If we can be comfortable with Him leading us, we are wise.

The next most influential people we could turn to are those who wrote books in the bible. They are trustworthy.

Finally, find Godly men and women who love the Lord with all their hearts, souls and minds and learn from them.
