God's prophesy
“How great you are, O Sovereign Lord! There is no one like you. We have never even heard of another God like you! 2 Samuel 7:22 NLT

This verse is part of David's prayer to the Lord after the prophet Nathan had visited him. And told him he would not build God a temple but a son (Solomon) would build it instead, as David was a man of war. David amassed huge amounts of treasures, nonetheless, in preparation for that event.
When God gives us a message, through prophesy, we are touched in our spirits, and know He is looking over us. Even if the prophesy is 'no!' It is still God's word.
Often prophesy is to encourage us, because usually there is a time space involved. We must press in and wait patiently. Ah!
