the correct path
Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.
James 1:2-4 NLT
When we are ashamed or being shamed by the behaviour of others we can yield to hopelessness, doubt and unbelief. However, choosing instead to trust God for His outcome is choosing to endure in faith. This choice allows our endurance to grow. The goal is perfection. For Jesus Himself said: for you must be perfect as Your heavenly Father is perfect (Matt 5:48).
Perfect in this regard means whole and complete. When we react wrongly we are displaying that we are not yet complete.
Insight and understanding causes us to be aware of our behaviour, and be able to analyse our reactions. We can then choose, with insight, the correct path. Amen!
