too late

For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins. Romans 3:23‭-‬24 NLT

No one can say they are sinless. Many think they are, but they have unwittingly made themselves the judge without realising that judgement is God the Father's role.

Even Christians fall prey to the spirit of the age, selfism.  Selfism  determines what God can and should accept. It determines that sin is the big stuff, disregarding the selfish traits as sin.

Some of us are in for a huge awakening, unfortunately too later to repent. This will be the saddest day of our lives, when we discover that God's truth, God's holiness and God's judgement are different to our estimates. Some will hear,"Begone from me for I never knew you!" A sad day indeed!

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
