abundance

And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 NLT

The scripture also promises us an abundance.....for every good work, not for wasteful living. The challenge is knowing what every good work looks like. There are so many hands out for financial assistance, which way should we go? The Lord has a path for each one of us. Our task is to find that path, and be faithful to it. We are not called to self-indulgence.
Learning to live with enough, and giving to every good work is the constant challenge. However, I know two men with aircrafts. Is this indulgence? That is not for me to judge. These men have their own paths before God. He knows what He wants them to do for Him.

God gave me a cute little convertible. It looks posh, I assure you it is not, it is now 11 years old. I know it provides me with a tool for relating to young people(nephews, neices and grandies especially), also it was great when I was driving long distances for work. I still enjoy it, but it is in the Lord's hands. He has graciously kept it going for me.

May we each live openly before the Lord! Amen!
