conversation

Let your conversation be gracious and attractive so that you will have the right response for everyone. Colossians 4:6 NLT

The time that this admonition is hardest is when we've been dealt with unfairly. Others are more than willing to be disparaging with you. You may have given your all to find yourself slapped down and kicked into the gutter.

It is times like this that we need to remember Jesus, and how He responded to wrongful treatment. Father forgive them,  for they know not what they do ( Luke 22:34). Mixing forgiveness, grace and firm resolve is the challenge.

Today I must handle such a challenge. I must face off a greedy owner with truth and justice, along with mercy. That should look interesting. I have been told that upon my lease renewal the owner wants to increase the rent by $45/week. This is very unreasonable when similar duplexes in my street pay only $10 above my current rental. This is more acceptable, now comes the battle to fight for right, when wrong is supported by an intermediary, the real estate manager.

What my predicament has forced me to do is look for a companion, and praise God I may have found another godly woman to share.  This would also deal with the lonliness for me. Prayers would be appreciated. I know my street is anxious for me as we are a community. This is appreciated.

I know God is for me. David had to face many such problems and he knew he was annointed to be king. I know I am the king's daughter, He is interested in my welfare much more than any human, and I am grateful.  Time for a miracle or two or three!
