Yesterday I discovered my daughter-in-law is facing a fearful enemy. She is in hospital having tests for MS and cancer. She was having a lumbar puncture. This is not a pleasant procedure, having had two epidural, one whilst in pain of childbirth and one not. I can say having a huge needle stuck in your spine is not fun. The fear of the unknown can be daunting.
Roz needs to have the Lord's comfort. All of us do when facing the unknown. Obviously there were symptoms that caused her to seek help. The unknown is the worst. When we know what our enemy is we can work out a strategy to deal with it. Sometimes the only hope is the Lord. Whilst scary, it is a safe place to be. The Lord always has an answer. Sometimes it is just, trust Me! Sometimes we walk through the fire. Sometimes we meet death. However, on the other side is eternal life free from pain and fear.
Whilst us who watch and pray hope for an outcome of victory on this side of eternity, God is always with us and we can trust Him. Amen!
