Entering in to a dark valley can be daunting, but as you near the exist on the other side, there is light. You can see beyond the valley.
I watched a National Georgraphic documentary about a famous naturalist who was in his 80's who wanted to go to a particular plateau in South America. To get to that place he and his team had to cut through think vegetation. It began to rain, the ground was slippery, and the man knew he would not make the climb of the mountain range. However, he made it to a place where he could see the mountain and daylight. He sent on a young team of climbers to go before him and look for a particular frog. They happened to find some tadpoles and they happened to be the variety the man wanted. The fact that this man was able to traverse through thick jungle in the pouring rain was a Testament to his determination.
We need determination to make it to the other side. Eternity awaits the brave. We have much to do! Amen!
