He is still here

I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 NLT

Os there anyone who has had no trials and sorrows? Does anyone have a charmed life? 

When my daughter was born the enemy was after her with cystic fibrosis, but God put faith in my heart and she was well. When she was six she fell and broke a wrist on the monkey bars, at 8 she developed Perthes disease in her right hip which threatened her ability to walk and run, she then developed asthma. Later we discover two huge system lumps in her right femur, she fell and broke her other wrist. I knew that Satan sought to destroy her, but he failed. My son had nothing go wrong for 10 years and I wondered why he did not suffer. At 10 he was mauled by a dog but I prayed amd he did not grow up to fear dogs, and he did not have any infection. When he was a teenager he developed a nasty pionodal cyst on his lower back. It took three operations, and a time of packing an open wound while he tried to study for his year 12 exams. It was painful. My son almost lost his youngest to drowning, but God intervened. He has an autistic child, a child with Aspbergers syndrome and a dyslexic child to challenge he and his wife. Only last week his wife faced a cancer scare, and won. God has been there and still is there!

My story is one of constant challenged and battles with the enemy of my soul, but I am still here determined to win souls. Amen!
