How could Paul say this? He could say it if he also followed the Lord's example. Paul grew up under Gamaliel a profound bible teacher of the Old Testament. However, Paul also had a divine encounter with Jesus. This encounter changed him from being a religious bigot to a travelling evangelist and apostle.
Can we say to people 'watch what I do and follow me'? If we can it is because we follow Christ. If we can't we need to repent and turn around and follow Jesus.
The results for following Paul and Jesus is peace, God's peace. It is worth it to be able to show people how to walk in peace. Amen!
