He forgave

You forgave the guilt of your people— yes, you covered all their sins. Interlude Psalms 85:2 NLT

as I pray for my city, I am grateful Jesus did this for us, He paid the price for our sins.

The word 'sin' is not a welcome one, or a fashionable one, but a real truth we try to run from. Adam and Eve hid from the truth of their disobedience, and we have run from it ever since.

Sin is missing the mark. When we are Christians who profess to know Christ we must allow His Holy Spirit to teach us the ways of truth. His truth sets us free. As we walk in His truth, not our version of it, we are liberated from all that binds amd traps us.

If we live in the light, as He is in thr light we have fellowship with one another and the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin. 1 John 1:7
