Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters: You must all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry.
James 1:19 NLT
Being quick can be a problem unless we have all the facts. A quick response is good in defeating darkness, destroying strongholds of the enemy but not good when dealing with others. God is slow on our behalf, we can be slow on the behalf of others.
Others need grace and compassion. Dividing the enemy's influence in that person from the person is the challenge. Blindness to who the enemy is causes people problems.
Jesus saw clearly when he rebuked Satan working through Peter. I wonder how Peter took it, probably in shock.
May we have eyes to see the real issues! Amen!
