In this chapter and the two before Daniel is having a vision and Angel Michael is speaking to him, revealing things to come. In chapter 22 he talks about the end times (which we believe we are now in).
Even now wisdom is important. Wisdom is tied to the Lord. The wise shine like the sun because they are connected to the Lord, they display His glory. The wise are seeking to save souls, it is their focus. All other worldly matters pale into insignificance.
Christmas is a time when people are more open to the gospel. It is an opportunity to invite folk to church, but more importantly to share the good news. I am currently teaching two little girls, my nieces ,Sunday school in my home. They love to learn about Jesus, I am teaching them a song to sing for their relatives on Christmas Day called Happy Birthday Jesus. 12 people will be there, apart from me. I am grateful that their parents want them to learn. Since learning the eldest is behaving better at school. This is a witness to the parents and grandparents, uncles and aunts. Praise God!
