Approval

10 Obviously, I’m not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant. (‭‭‭Galatians‬ ‭1‬‬:‭10‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

Wanting the approval of people can be exhausting. It causes you to worry about you looks, you clothes, you car , your house, your jewels. These become your treasures. Jesus said: seek first the kingdom of God, and all these things will be added to you(Matt 6:33). Where your treasure is your heart will be also.   ( Matt 6:21).

If we are seeking God’s approval we check our hearts  being aware of the state of it, we seek His voice in the scriptures, His attitude to those in our world. His opinion is what matters, not ours or that of others.

Paul knew this and walked in it. We can learn from him. Read the scriptures, have them ever before you! Amen!
