Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life. Psalms 139:23-24 NLT
Know my anxious thoughts! Why do we want God to know our anxious thoughts? Because Him knowing them, helps us seek Him for the solution. He is already ahead of us, Jesus spoke a lot about not being anxious, but rather seeking God for His kingdom and His ways. He taught us how to pray, give us today what we need (my paraphrase).
My guest has left and I am low on food, and I have another guest coming Friday night. Before I was asked to have the guest I gave a donation to the Earthquake survivors. Therefore, practically, I have a problem, but God is there ahead of me. My last guest was generous and provided an answer to two prayers. I can trust God for the next! Amen!
